BUSY week! DIY filming, Daily Basics Post, Rejuvenation Fairy Tale and more!

Wow is all I have to say!  So many amazing things have happened in just one week. I wrote fun guest blog posts for Rejuvenation and The Daily Basics. Then I headed to Boston to film more for the DIY online salvage series -- so happy to see the projects coming together! Then we came home (dragging my friend Shannon with me) and threw on some different clothes and headed to the Flying Pig for a fun event -- Lamp Decoupage!  Next up: More filming and then off to Phoenix to Sweet Salvage for an event on April 19th!  Thanks for following along. Here is my week recap in pictures!
My best, Joanne

Flying Pig Bookstore -- Decoupage Lamps Event was a huge success.  A big thank you to Kelly and Josie.

The lamps--the before stage. Josie did a lovely write up about the event for Publishers Weekly. Thanks Josie!

I loved all the creative ways everyone decoupaged their lamps. Here is one in the making. I hope they send me pictures of what the lamps look like in their homes.

My amazing college intern, Nora. Without her, the event at the Flying Pig would not have happened!

Don't want you to think I'm just hanging out while everyone is working during filming for DIY NETWORK.  I was drilling, using the jigsaw, painting -- all sorts of fun DIY--that's my favorite part. Wait till you see what I'm doing with this!

I don't know what I would've done if I didn't fly my BFF, the talented and beautiful, Shannon Quimby, to assist me. She really worked hard! Five full days. Wish I could have her back the following week for the next four rooms--hint, hint, nudge, nudge.

Too tired to go out. Dinner at the hotel on a towel -- three nights in a row from the same place :)
Love those containers -- I reuse them for my crafts.

The ladies of DIY filming--Missy, Meghan, me, Angela, Mo, Shannon and Patty!
(Sorry gentleman, we'll get you in the next picture.)

You've got to check out my FAIRY TALE post on Rejuvenation. Turning an old dresser into a thing of beauty!

My Mantel Story on The Daily Basics.
I love mantels--they're little stages for creativity!
