NYC - Gowanus would like to invite you to meet Joanne Palmisano, author of the internationally-acclaimed book Salvage Secrets: Transforming Reclaimed Materials into Design Concepts. This event will take place on Tuesday, July 10th at Build It Green's non-profit retail outlet for salvaged and surplus building materials at 69 9th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11215. Cocktail hour starts at 6pm, followed by Joanne's Salvage Secrets tour at 7pm.
Joanne will give a tour of the facility, addressing the wide variety of home interior and DIY possibilities that are featured in her book. As an added bonus, the store will be open for guests to browse the extensive salvage department. After hearing all of Joanne's ideas, guests will be full of ideas for their own salvage design project!
