Hello meet Joanne Palmisano. She is the mother to an adorable pre-teen girl, wife, and good friend to many gal pals. She loves to travel (especially if her twin sister is paying), go antiquing and has a serious addiction to second hand shops and recycle centers.
She is also the author of Salvage Secrets, a nationally acclaimed book, a Better Homes and Gardens award-winning interior
designer, a project designer for DIY Network, plus enjoys blogging on SalvageSecretsBlog.com.
She spends most of her time in beat up jeans and a flannel shirt, hair in a clip, dragging salvage material up and down the stairs to her basement. She also loves the opportunity to style for magazines (including This Old House Magazine) and furniture lines and her own DIY projects for DIY Network.
Joanne consults for Peregrine Design/Build and TruexCullins Architects and Interiors on residential interiors as well as on concept design teams for hotels and restaurants. Joanne’s designs include the 2009 Best Bathroom of the Year, from Better Homes and Gardens.
Ms. Palmisano is a contributor to Houzz.com, as well as a
guest blogger for the Daily Basics, Rejuvenation and Goodwill of Northern New
England.
